I will come forth and admit that I intend to make this edition quite short. It is late, and I am super tired! Not only am I tired, but I feel like a pig that has just been turned through a fire. Needless to say, I have forgotten that the sun out here in California tends to be a bit stronger in potency than in Nebraska. We visited the Laguna Beach today, and I laid my eyes upon the Pacific Ocean for the first time. I have been to lakes and sand bars before, but this was the first time that I walked upon the shores of an ocean! It was sad that we chose a less popular beach, but it was still completely crowded. The water was frigid, but I inched my way out into the far-reaching depths of a whopping 6 feet! I did not get a chance to master the art of body surfing, but the push and pull of nature's tender aquatic embrace was enough for me to experience true pleasure. I used some sunblock, but, as I mentioned earlier, the Sun is way more potent out west. After the beach, we drove back to attend our murder mystery dinner. It was a decent four course meal, and my sister won the competition. In reality, my sister and I tag-teamed on the event, but she took the glory, as she has done all my life. Just kidding; love ya Nik! Anyway, we just got back from our family dinner, and I am super tired. The waves of the ocean and the rays from the Sun have left me burned and battered down. I apologize for the shortness of this, but I must retire to rest my body and mind. I will see you all again tomorrow night! Thank you for everything!
